Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- ½ cup softened butter
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to around 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Lightly butter the sides of a medium-sized baking dish, then set aside.
3. In a large-sized bowl, cream together your brown sugar, honey and softened butter until well combined.
4. In the same bowl, mash together your three ripe bananas to your preferred texture.
5. Next, crack your two large eggs into the same bowl and mix well. (Don’t worry too much about overmixing here, since gluten cannot be created UNTIL flour is added!)
6. In the same mixing bowl, add your all-purpose flour, around ½ cup at a time. Here, the baking powder should be added as well.
7. To enhance the banana flavoring, add your vanilla paste or extract and mix in completely, along with your chocolate chips of choice.
8. Pour all batter into a buttered oven-safe baking dish and bake in the oven for around 60 to 65 minutes.
9. Finally, let it cool for around 15 to 30 minutes, cut, serve and enjoy!
