Asian Students in Action (A.S.I.A.)
Asian Students in Action (A.S.I.A.) builds a community for Asian students at BLS and advocates for them. Throughout the year, they host several events to promote Asian culture, such as Asian Night and the upcoming Holiday Sing-Off, of which both are held annually. A.S.I.A. also holds volunteering opportunities and educational workshops.
Black Leaders Aspiring for Change and Knowledge (B.L.A.C.K.)
Black Leaders Aspiring for Change and Knowledge (B.L.A.C.K.) strives to cultivate a community of leaders, who seek change and knowledge through educating members on pertinent issues that concern the Black community and spreading Black and African-American culture within BLS and the greater Boston area. B.L.A.C.K. meets on Thursdays in room 114 at 2:30 P.M.
Caribbean Culture Club (CCC)
The Caribbean Culture Club (CCC) strives to create a welcoming community for Caribbean students at BLS during its meetings in room 102 on Wednesdays at 2:30 P.M. At meetings, CCC connects students with Caribbean culture, food and music.
Desi
Desi is a South Asian student society that meets on Mondays in room 208 at 2:30 P.M. They aim to spread South Asian culture through a variety of events, such as Asian Night and Henna Week.
Korean Culture Club (KCC)
The Korean Culture Club (KCC) teaches students about Korean culture, history and language. KCC meets in room 212 on Thursdays at 2:30 P.M.
Middle East North Africa (MENA)
Middle East North Africa (MENA) welcomes all students to come to meetings on Wednesdays at 2:30 P.M. in room 209 to learn about Middle Eastern and North African culture. At meetings, MENA also teaches basic Arabic to students and holds fundraisers for causes in the Middle East throughout the year.
Muslim Student Association (MSA)
The Muslim Student Association (MSA) is a club that provides a safe space for Muslim students. MSA also provides an opportunity for non-Muslims to learn more about Islam. MSA meets on Tuesdays at 2:30 P.M.
Persia
Persia is a low-commitment club that meets in room 212 on Wednesdays at 2:30 P.M. to teach students about Persian/Iranian culture and hold competitions as well. Throughout the year, Persia celebrates Persian and Iranian holidays, such as Nowruz, Sizdah Be Dar, Yalda Night and Chahar Shanbe Soori.
Southeast Asian Leaders (SEAL)
Southeast Asian Leaders (SEAL) creates a community for Southeast Asian students. SEAL discusses important issues pertaining to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and promotes unity between the Southeast Asian community and others. SEAL meets in room 212 on Thursdays at 2:30 P.M.
Talented and Gifted (TAG)
Talented and Gifted (TAG) is a safe space for Latinx students to discuss a variety of important topics and Latinx culture. TAG meets in room 329 on Thursdays at 2:30 P.M. Throughout the year, TAG also uplifts several local businesses.
Vietnamese Student Society (VSS)
The Vietnamese Student Society (VSS) strives to promote Vietnamese culture and create a safe space for Vietnamese and Vietnamese-American students to discuss their experiences. They meet in room 123 on Mondays at 2:30 P.M. and host events throughout the year like Ca Phe Day and the Tet Festival.
Young Women of Color (YWOC)
Young Women of Color (YWOC) is a safe, accepting and welcoming space for young women of color at BLS. YWOC educates young women on a variety of topics from how to maintain their hair to career building. YWOC meets in room 014 on Wednesdays during W block.
